SLASH Performs On "Conan" With A Recovered Myles Kennedy - Video Available!

As previously reported, SLASH, which features MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS, was forced to postpone their performance that was scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California. The show has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 2 at the same venue. The show was postponed due to the fact that vocalist Myles Kennedy's was feeling ill.

Fortunately, Kennedy was able to perform along with legendary Rock N' Roll guitarist Slash the song "Standing In The Sun on TBS's the "Conan" (hosted by the awesome Conan O'Brien). Video footage of the performance can be seen below.

In case you are wondering how come he was able to perform last night, but not on Wednesday night, the band did not want to pass on the opportunity to present 'Apocalyptic Love' on national TV. Additionally, it is one thing to perform one song versus an entire set.

In case you missed this: SLASH's second solo album 'Apocalyptic Love' was released this passed May and was recently certified gold in Australia by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for sales in excess of 35,000 copies.

SLASH recently revealed that he and singer Myles Kennedy have already begun working on music for the guitarist's next album, to be recorded sometime next year.

"We are working on material, gathering ideas for another [record] at this point," Slash told Rapid City Journal. "We are sort of like in those early stages where I'm just recording different guitar ideas and I turn Myles on to it. He's thinking about his stuff and what he's going to do with it and so on."
